Born 1972 in Port-au-Prince, Nazaire Pierre-Louis whose artist name is Nazito is the son of the famous Haitian painter Prosper Pierre-Louis who was one of the great artisans of the movement Saint Soleil. He made his painting debut at his 18th birthday
in 1990 at the workshops of his father, Prosper Pierre-Louis. With a strong will on his part, he was admitted to Colombia from February 1997 to December 1999 at the University of Bogota Jorge Tadeo Lozano where he was debuting in Fine Arts. In December 1999, he met Tiga who was the main leader of the Saint Soleil movement.
From 2000 to 2002 Nazaire Pierre-Louis attended painting classes at the TIGA Workshops; he put into practice everything that this great master had advised him.
His works are exhibited throughout Haiti (Embassies, non- governmental organizations, private and state institutions, and abroad.
